Sonus Faber Venere 3.0 Pair of Walnut Wood 3 Way Floorstander Speakers

Sonus Faber, Italy’s most famous high-end speaker maker has created a special marriage in this Venere line, between Italy and Asia. (see article below) Sonus Faber has always tried hard to link it’s speakers to Italy’s tradition of musical instrument making and combining their sound with beautiful craftsmanship. Of course, the drive unit and system design is entirely Sonus Faber engineering team lead by Paolo Tezzon. The eye melting aesthetic design, by Livio Cucuzza, echoes the’lyre-shaped’ theme of the much higher end Aida. This marriage brought a spectacular step toward high end with this collection, enabling Audiophiles to afford a speaker of this caliber. Details: These were a pair of showroom demo speakers. Because of the Walnut finish, the retail price was $500 more than Black or White finish speakers. There is slight mar/scratch on the far side of each speaker. Each is imperceptible while standing to look at the speakers. However, there is a mar there on the right side of the right speaker, and a mar or slight scratch on the left side of the left speaker. I Zoomed in on a photo of each, along with a standing photo to emphasize just how imperceptible they are standing, and yet to make fully aware of the imperfection of the speaker when looking close up. (1/4 inch approx. for one, maybe 3/16 in. for the other)
