Reference 3A Nefes full range speaker

Selling a great sounding pair of Reference 3A Nefes loudspeakers for a friend.These speakers are in excellent condition and were purchased less than 3 years ago.
The Nefes are set up in a D'Appolito configuration of a pair of 8” full range drivers and a pure Beryllium dome tweeter.The sensitivity is a very easy load of 8 ohms and 92 db.The speaker was used with a Mastersound compact 845 triode at 25 watts to amazing effect.

”Two of these superb 8” full range drivers and a pure Beryllium dome tweeter are assembled in a vertical array into a very rigid and inert cabinet making the foundation of our new Nefes loudspeaker model. The Beryllium tweeter is mounted behind an exponential acoustic wave guide for better time alignment and more uniform dispersion patterns.
With no crossover on the main drivers (just a very high quality capacitor) the high pass filter on the Beryllium dome tweeter sounds dynamic, fast, articulate and very coherent. It has an unusually wide frequency response with the bass extending down to 26 Hz and the high frequencies reaching past 40 k Hz. It is also very efficient at 92 dB and presents a very easy impedance load of 8 Ohms to amplifiers.
To further refine the performance of our new model Nefes - patented Surreal Acoustic Lenses for diffusing inherent driver cone turbulence noise and patented Magnetic Wave guides to purify the incoming audio signal are also used. Cryogenically treated, Teflon insulated, pure OCC copper conductors in appropriate thicknesses for each driver and copper input connectors are also used to ensure perfect signal transmission.
Housed in extremely rigid and inert loudspeakers cabinets, the Nefes is finished in a durable anthracite coloured, matte textured Nextel coating. This special coating effectively absorbs sound and light for acoustically and visually silent cabinets.”
