The Linn Akurate DSM is a full function preamplifier with an exceptional network audio player / DAC built-in. This is an incredibly versatile product with numerous analog and digital inputs. There is even a configurable MM/MC phono preamp on board as well.
With the latest firmware installed, there is now support for the following online services:
• Roon
• Tidal
• Qobuz
• Spotify
• TuneIn
• Calm Radio
Linn updates their firmware frequently in order to improve performance and add new features, and these updates are free of charge and easy to install. You can stream your digital music library from a local NAS / DLNA server, or wirelessly using the ‘Net Aux’ function (works just like Apple AirPlay).
If you have video components in your system, the Akurate DSM can switch between four HDMI (v1.4) sources. The HDMI video board can be updated to the latest 2.0 standard by any Linn dealer. You can also upgrade to Linn’s latest Katalyst DAC technology for an additional $2,340. Once installed, this upgrade also includes a new factory 5-year warranty.
