Aragon Soundstage

This is a black Aragon Soundstage preamplifier / processor from the early 2000s.  I bought it secondhand around 2008.  It hasn't seen a whole lot of use as I'm not much of a movie buff and I've always had a dedicated preamp for music.  Cosmetically it's fine but I marked the condition (and asking price) down because: - Time has taken its toll on the front display; it takes a while to warm up and get bright. - It didn't recognize the remote control the last couple times I used it, even with fresh batteries in the remote.  The remote lights up so I believe the problem is the sensor on the Soundstage.  The unit's front buttons work fine and that's how I was able to use it, but obviously the remote allows for access to extended functions the front buttons don't.  It looks like the unit would need to be serviced for the remote to function.
The main thing is the sound quality, which is excellent.  I replaced this unit with a brand new Rotel RSP-1576 and I was hard pressed to tell a difference from the Soundstage in how movies sounded.  The Soundstage supports 5.1 channels for home theater, decoding both Dolby Digital and DTS.  In addition, it has a very well regarded analog section with pass-through capability and can therefore double as a great preamplifier for music.
It'll ship in the original box with the remote control and power cable.
