Krell FPB600 lightly used from a designated "off limits" media room. Caps were replaced by Krell in '12, at a cost of over $1800, not counting almost $1000 in shipping to/from. There are slight marks from normal age. Nothing obvious; for the age, the unit is in great physical shape and in perfect functioning condition. The important thing is: Local sale only, so you can see and hear this for yourself. [Note: the heat sink fins are in great shape; marks etc you might see are imperfections in the flash photos.] Behold the transformers!! Hello Thor's work product!!
Provides 600 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 1200 into 4 ohms, and 2400 into 2 ohms. While it is great for hard to drive speakers, it is extremely nuanced and will get the best out of any speaker load. I’ve driven Revel Salon2’s and Wilson Watt Puppy 7’s with great success. The amp is god-like in its seemingly unlimited power reserves. Local pickup only, as no original box. I'd consider shipping, but count on $500 or more depending on your Continental USA location. To find a comparable amp in today's market, you're looking at $20,000. If you are a true audiophile, you know that's no overstatement.
I'd use my Simaudio Titan-7 wooden crate palletized. But MUCH prefer local sale.

At this used price point, you simply cannot find an amp of this build quality, musicality and sheer acoustic as well as physical, aesthetic presence. I’m only parting with it as I’m downsizing and have way too many toys in my “Off-Limits!” locked media room. Come see and hear it in Branchburg, NJ minutes from Rts 22, 202, 206 and 78, North-Central NJ.
