McIntosh C2200 Stereo Tube Preamplifier
This one-owner stereo tube preamplifier is in 9/10 condition and includes the factory packing material, remote control, and a copy of the owners manual. The only alteration to the unit has been the addition of an LED front illumination kit at Audio Classics in Vestal New York. 
The C2200 utilizes electromagnetic switching for silent operation, and all functions work perfectly. Outputs are muted until onboard monitors confirm tubes are stabilized. In addition, the C2200 supports the VRV (variable rate volume) attenuator with in excess of 214 steps at .5dB steps. 
There are a total of eight programmable inputs supporting both balanced (XLR) and un-balanced (RCA) connections. All are gold plated. ‘
In addition, there is pass-thru Integration, Input Level Match, a double-shielded power supply, and low noise 1% metal film resistors throughout.
Sonically: In the design of the C2200, McIntosh delivers silence to a level that gets things emotional, because what rises from that beautiful blackness is harmonic timbre so organic and resolved it becomes downright eerie. The factory-supplied power cable is included, although its worth upgrading with something better.
