My meeting Bobby Palkovich some years ago led me to finally getting a Filarmonia SE along with some VSM's . His captivating enthusiasm along with his genius of the Audio Arts is evident in his recommendation of this elegant and compact tube integrated that has all of the sweetness of a good SET amp. This one is unique in that it has very little use . Estimated by Rich Brkich ( who is the Ars-Sonum tech here in the US ) to have less than 1000 hours of use. S/N 1126 - made in 2007 . It is in excellent condition ( could almost say Mint ). I sent it in to Rich for a complete inspection and service as it had a faulty solder connection. He also upgraded some caps and resistors and inspected and tested the unit. The low hour evaluation was based on no signs of thermal distress on the circuit board . It has had , up to now , the original tube set . I had the tubes tested and the 6922 needed to be replaced and one of the E34L's was acting up so I've installed a new matched Quad of JJ E34Ls . I'm selling only because I have an opportunity to upgrade . The amp comes in the original factory double box and packing along with stock cord and manual . The Filarmonia has been in production for around 20 years, I believe, handmade in Spain. Rich Brkich of Signature Sound offers outstanding service which makes owning this integrated very easeful . Note that Rich is the USA authorized dealer/distributor for Ars-Sonum ( Signature Sound in New York ) and he is very competent and helpful and always accessible. For me , this is an important part of owning a tube amp- good support. Lots of favorable reviews . Class "A" Stereophile for good reason. A modest size room with relatively efficient speakers will provide a taste of sonic bliss . As I've invested a bit to have the service, upgrades, and new tubes I'm firm in my price. Plus ground shipping ( FED X around $75 depending on where you are). Check my feedback . Thanks for looking .
