The Avanti Audio Allegro A/C Power Cables are built using an extremely well shielded and UL Rated, fine strand silver-plated OFC cable and are offered in either 9 or 11 gauge sizes. By way of their stranded conductor design, these cables are surprisingly flexible for their large diameter.
Our cable-end mount connector choice for this Agon listing is the Furutech FI-11-N1(G) (Gold Plated) model series. The Furutech models are an overall step up the ladder in quality. Fit and finish with the Furutech models is top notch and they’re a true audio-grade connector option. With the FI-11-N1 connectors, we also utilize the Furutech FP-209(G) Gold Plated spade internally within each connector body (3 each are required per power cable end) to terminate the actual cable conductors to the connector taps themselves. This is a slick design that provides a vice like grip for the cable conductor-to-plug interface.
Great care is taken in the design and assembly of the Allegro Power Cables and the result is a power cable that’s able to deliver unfettered high current with an exceptionally low noise floor. For Preamp and Source Component applications we recommend the 11 gauge model and for Power Amplifier or Power Conditioners we recommend the 9 gauge model cables.
