Proceed AVP-2 Upgraded Unit Not An Original AVP2. (From Review Off Web) The AVP2 is a significant improvement over the AVP1
Capable of decoding up to eight channels, the AVP2 handles dts, dts-ES, Dolby Digital, THX Surround EX, MPEG-2, HDCD, and PCM-originated digital audio signals up to 24bit.96kHz, including Dolby Pro Logic II. Madrigal's proprietary Stereo Surround mode can be used to enhance two-channel recordings.
This is an upgrade unit not an original AVP2 (see bottom label pic). Unit performs perfectly but is missing one dash from the LED display, a common problem. I used this in my primary system for a couple of years and it was a substantial improvement over the AVP1 it replaced. Which I still use in another system.
I have the original remote, manual, factory box and will furnish a generic power cord.
Unit is in good condition (see pics). Rated 7/10 for age , no visible scratches or dents.
