Up for grabs is a pair of mint Zu Audio Druid MK "4.5".

These speakers were MK 4 and were refurbished by Zu Audio in 2015, and upgraded to the latest Zu-B full range drivers. In 2017 I upgraded the tweeters as well, to the latest Radian tweeters, which was a $1,200 upgrade purchased direct from Zu Audio. That brought all the drivers to a MK 5 level, yet still in a MK 4 enclosure.  Hence MK "4.5". 

This was the upgrade path recommended by Sean Casey, Founder of Zu Audio and the designer of these speakers.

I also upgraded the original harness to the Event cable, and the premium clarity caps.
I opted not to replace the cardas binding posts with the speakon connector although it was part of the upgrade kit, as I prefer to use bare wire as can be seen in the photos.
The photos don't really do them justice, they are gorgeous "Cosmic Grey" with depth and texture that will blow you away.

I will assume that if you are reading this, you know what these speakers are, so I won't bother telling you their praise, nor giving you links...
These don't come up often as second hand.
MK 5 cost $6,750, and the newer MK 6 are $10K.

The speakers look as new. Except for a rice-grain sized color blemish (from the factory painting - not a chip) on the side of one speaker (see close up photo), they are flawless.
I have all original boxes, packing materials, etc in as new condition as well so I will ship them with confidence.
Local pickup in the San Francisco bay area is welcome.
