Selling my EAR 192 DACute dac. It's in perfect shape in every way and includes original packing material and manual.
This is a very detailed, non-digitally-fatiguing, natural sounding dac. Soundstage is very 3 dimensional. The tonality is tunable by tube rolling. The EAR dac output stage is tube amplified and transformer coupled. It accepts 2x 6922/7308/6dj8 tubes and you can also use the 7V versions (7dj8/pcc88). Dac chip is a Wolfson 8741. Faceplate is black with no marks anywhere, in excellent condition. This dac retailed for $6,000. I'm asking $2,200 plus shipping.
