This is a Great amp and huge bang for the buck. Good bass, rich midrange... a bit forward, smooth, detailed top end. I have had an Adcom 5500 in my system as well as a B&K Reference 4420. This thing was clearly better than both. Smoother than the 5500 and more detailed and dynamic than the 4420. Great soundstage and imaging. If you need an inexpensive amp and are looking at a Rotel, Adcom, Acurus, B&K etc. This amp will surprise you depending on your system, should beat them all. It doubles down Rated at 140 watts to 8 and 280 watts to 4 ohms, so great power supply and dynamic capability. Look at the massive Piltron transformer in this amp. The price includes shipping and all pay pal fees, No Surprises. I think most would rate it a 7 on appearance, I am calling it a 6 to be safe, but the amp looks good and won't embarrass anyone.
