This is a listing for the Harbeth SHL5+ speakers in special edition walnut. This has a bunch of upgrades over the original Super HL5+ - including wiring, binding posts, capacitors etc. A big step above the original.
These are a little over a year old. These were used in a 10x12 room. This was part of a second system that is not getting any use - the speakers aren't broken in yet.
Bad news: The damage visible on the pictures is because one of the speakers was accidentally nudged and met with the corners of a rega TT stand. Just a little cosmetic damage - the speakers sound perfect.
Still, rating them at 9 since they're excellent all around except for the damage noted above.
Offers considered.
Don't really want to part with these, but with small kids, I don't want to risk stand mounters in the living room, and I'm slowly disbanding my second system.
All original packaging etc. is available.
** Not selling the stands at the moment ** Might go back to this speaker some day when the kids are a little older.
