Audio Research VS-115

First Audio Research VS-115 amp has been sold so I only have one left.  Used in a tri-amplified system so these have never even played anything below 350Hz.  Have had a pretty easy life.  Guessing at least 1/2 the current tube life is left?

Starting a family later in life and I am worried hot tubes =  burned little fingers.  Revamping the system to something smaller without my beautiful tube amps.   Buyer pays insured shipping based on actual costs. 


ANSWERS TO FAQ: There is no meter that counts the tube hours on this amp.  I bought it used so the tubes had some use but I don't know how much because I immediately bought the upgrade package from The Tube Store.  I got engaged (2014) and married (2015) around the time I purchased the amp so I haven't used it much, but maybe occasionally on weekends for an hour or two until about 2016.  The past 2 years I haven't turned my stereo on once.  With a newborn on the way, I see this situation getting worse.  From what I understand, you can expect to change tubes every 3 to 4 years with normal use on most tube amps.  As I've had it about 4 years, but not played it much, I am guessing maybe half the tube life is gone? This of course is an absolute wild guess.  
Buying and trying different tubes ("tube rolling") and tweaking the sound to your taste based on changing the tube bias is all part of the fun of owning a tube amp.  Some feel it is worth the effort and part of the fun but if that's more than you want to do you might be happier sticking with solid state amps.

The old tube set is not as good as the upgrade package from The Tube Store.  It's not a cheap package so I consider this to be a GREAT deal compared to others who are selling the amp with stock tubes.  You now know as much as I do!
