I am selling my Marantz TT-15S1 turntable. I have owned this table for four years now and have enjoyed it thoroughly the entire time. It is an absolutely fantastic piece, and I believe you will think so too. It has two settings, 33 and 45 rpm, and is belt-drive. And, most importantly:
It is built by Clearaudio! This is a Clearaudio turntable, with the Marantz name slapped on. They teamed up to create a reference-level table (Clearaudio) at an accessible price (Marantz). The cartridge itself (Virtuoso V2) sells for $1,000! The tonearm does as well. A result of this joint venture, however, involves bringing you these both, along with a German-built turntable, for $1,500.
I am asking for $650 and do not intend on taking lower offers. It works like a dream, and has many years ahead of it. German-built really does mean something.
I do not want to ship this so I would like to arrange a pickup. I live in Soho in Manhattan.
I am selling it because I just purchased a Brinkmann Bardo. It took nothing less than a Brinkmann to make me say goodbye to the TT-15S1. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
I am also selling my HRS ADH record weight. Retail $470, asking for $300. Let me know if interested.
