Simaudio P8 Moon Evolution Preamplifier

For sale is an absolutely perfect Simaudio Moon Evolution P8. I am the original owner of this unit, and I purchased it in late 2013 directly from Simaudio as new old stock that was never sold (the P-8 stopped production in late 2012, and this is one of the final units produced). This unit has been used in a dedicated high end temperature controlled theater/listening room, and has almost exclusively been paired with the matching Simaudio W7M monoblocks. As you can see from the pictures, this unit is flawless. About 2 years ago, when I had the amps upgraded by Simaudio, I sent this unit in for a check up/cleaning and everything checked out perfectly. At that time I had them put the new conical polished feet on it as well. Simaudio shipped it back in separate rather than singular box as shown in pictures. This unit has never been stacked, always placed on 2 dedicated rack spaces as shown in the picture, and always pampered. Simaudio's P-8 has been extremely highly reviewed, and noted (particularly by Stereophile) as offering near identical levels of performance to the Ayre KX-R and Pass Labs XP-30. I have also had the opportunity to directly A/B the P-8 with Simaudio's current flagship preamp, the 850P, and the sound was almost indistinguishable. I am selling because after years of running solid state, I have decided to progress to tube gear.

This P-8 will come shipped in dual Simaudio boxes (pictured), and packaged in all of the original foam inserts accompanied by all of the original accessories such as power cord, remote, trigger cable, 3 Simaudio link cables, and wrapping. The original feet are also in the box. I have no doubt that this is the finest example of a P-8 available for sale anywhere, and it will arrive via your choice of shipping method as new.
