The Quatros are driven by a VAC 30/30 with month old 300Bs. You'll notice how little power is needed to drive these above moderate levels. That's one excellent feature of the Quatros: very easy to drive because of the built in bass amplifiers.
If you know the Quatros even slightly, you know that the bass amplifier is tuned to every room possible. I can show you how I tuned them for my (less than a week old) room. It was easy and it went very well. Thumbs up for Richard Vandersteen!
I don't have boxes for these, but I can build them for a nominal cost. Very good condition. Vandersteen changed out the mid-ranges and added new cloth covers just 4 years ago. They have only about 300 hours of listening after that initial break-in. Tiny hole in the cloth.
