Thorens TD 126 MK II LIMITED HIGH END TURNTABLE -RESTORED AND UPGRADED !

Total transformation to Appearance and Performance for this classic turntable from Legendary Thorens. It is known as one of the best turntables in the audio history, and has been upgraded to super status . The turntable has some nice features including adjustable speed control for 33 and 45 ,78 for accuracy in speed , two separated chassis ,with the lower one to hold the power supply enclosed in a dedicated shielded box and the electronics for the control of speed and the upper that holds the separated arm board and tone arm ,the sub platter , outer platter and the three point spring suspension. All the parts pertinent to the turntable's operation have been cleaned and lubricated .checked for correct functioning and to ensure lasting. This includes the Spindle Bearing, the sub-platter, motor, suspension springs and the tonearm. *The tone arm that has been installed is the famous SME 3009 Improved  well known for its accuracy and the tracking ability and offers all the fine adjustments for an accurate set up .   *Main platter has been polished many stages by hand . * The plinth has been refinished, and lacquered several coats to get that high gloss shiny and rich look,as protective too. *The top chassis of the turntable has been stripped down,primed and painted in Ferrari red with automotive paint as the plinth too for a unique and contemporary look . * Brand new belt has been installed . * High quality brass cones and plates in satin nickel  finish, installed at the bottom of plinth to improve further the performance in terms of clarity ,definition and imaging of sound-stage. 
* A new additional 1 " inch thick base made of wood took place at the bottom of the turntable for extra durability and solidity *Audiophile High Grade power cable and MARINGO Power plug has been installed for quieter background.   *The turntable will come fitted with a MC cartridge from AUDIO TECHNICA 33 GOLD a very musical and detailed sounding cartridge and a excellent tracker ,with low surface noise .   * The suspension has been improved and sounding reproduction is now more integrated ,provides even cleaner more extended and articulate bass,wide open 3 D images sound stage, revealing mid range and clearer highs .  * The turntable will come included with the brand new clear acrylic dust cover as appears in the pictures.
