| I have a pair of 33H mono blocks that will not fit in a new home. Please compare the current 536 amps to the 33 H ?

Both the 33h and the 536 are excellent amplifiers. The 536 uses what ML calls pure path technology which is a newer design approach than used by the 33H. While I cannot compare the sound of the 33H to the 536, the 536 is the most musical amp I have ever heard. Meaning, like the 33H, it sounds like no amp is there at all.
Beyond the size, (the 536 is made to either sit in the open or in a rack and is about 8 inches high – so the freedom to position is better).
In the specifications dept the 536 is one of ML’s best:

Frequency response 20-20k hz 10-20k hz
Cannot speak for the 33H, but the soundstage and depth of field are spectacular with the 536, as is the musicality, with sharp attacks in the highs and massive effortless power at the low end. All the while sounding like no amp is there.
