These impeccable pieces of vintage hardware have had the following replaced:
** Grey textured, satin finish, powder coated sheet metal covers and 700M fascia plate behind logo glass
** ALL transistors
** ALL diodes (silicon diodes upgraded for higher voltage and current handling capability)
** ALL film, ceramic and electrolytic capacitors (main filter caps in
700M upgraded from 22,000uF, to 47,000uF and low current PS caps
upgraded from 1000uF, to 3300uF. Main filter caps in 700C upgraded from
2,200uF to 4,700uF) All filter caps bypassed with film caps. All circuit
caps are polypropylene.
** ALL resistors upgraded to 1% metal film (with the exception of the two wired to the headphone jack on the 700M.
** ALL fuses and bulbs

I don't really know what more to say other than these units are
aesthetically impeccable, electronically quiet, powerful, extended
(freqs) and restored for the long haul. They truly speak for themselves
quite eloquently. If you can find a better looking and sounding
700C/700M combo, buy'em ... but good luck finding them.

Fine print:
There are no returns for the units because I cannot
be guaranteed that they won't be dropped, cross-wired and shorted,
liquid spilled in them, or whatever user error. What I will however
guarantee, is that at the time of pickup, the unit will have no
static, cracks, pops, hums, etc., every switch/knob will work as
designed, and that the unit will sound cleaner than the day it rolled
off the assembly line.

Questions for the seller
If I may ask, who did the work on these? I have a 700T that needs updating. Thanks.
That would be me. :-) Robert
