This Tonearm started life as a NOS SME 3009 which was converted to a 16" arm by Rad Gear. Then I sent this arm to Alfred Kayser @ SME where it was rewired, new brass weight set, confirmation of the bearing condition etc... Ive had success wth several carts incl Transfiguration, Ikeda, Kondo, and a couple of the vintage carts as well. Set up is no different than any other SME arm other than make sure your protractor is capable of 400+-mm. Effective length 406mm Pivot to spindle 398mm I would consider a TUBE based DAC +- cash

Can you recommend a protractor that will work with both arms?
