Discovered a stash of these new and unmounted A90 cartridges in the warehouse last week while looking for another piece of gear. Guess this happens when I don't get out of the shop much:) These are outstanding cartridges made with a revolutionary new manufacturing process at the time. Still unique in the cartridge world as far as I know. Some have called the A90 a touch on the bright/detailed side of the fifty yard line. It can be if set up without understanding that the Replicant stylus used the A90 needs to be set at a lower SRA/VTA than what one might use visually on other cartridges. Set the SRA down where it belongs and you will have a very special sound from your vinyl. It is a strong, dynamic cartridge.
