Line Magnetic LM805IA 48 Watt SET Tube Integrated Amplifier 805 508

Selling my beloved Line Magnetic Integrated. This amplifier will change your understanding of what tubes are capable of. The SET magic can now be heard with even somewhat inefficient speakers like my ATC SCM40’s. I bought this from a friend who bought it new from Gig Harbor Audio. I can’t say how many hours are on it as I’m the second owner but I never used the stock tube for any significant period of time because I have numerous tubes for this amplifier after owning the previous version (508IA). 

This will ship in the original box, with power cord, tube cage/cover, remote, original tubes, and protective foam. The only condition issues are that the power LED on the front of the amp is out and the (-) and (Volume) lettering on the remote have worn a bit as pictured. I have listed it as 7/10 just to draw attention to the minor issues. The amplifier doesn’t have any scrapes or dings that I could find 7/10 is just to be conservative about condition. 

This will ship with the original tubes and footers installed. The Shuguang Black Treasure, TJ Fullmusic tubes, and HRS Nimbus footers are not included. I will be selling my tube collection separately. The first photo shows the original Line Magnetic branded tubes.

Overview:

The Line Magnetic 805iA uses single-ended triode 805 tubes and operate in pure Class A. It delivers 2x48W power. It has 3 unbalanced line inputs, 1 bypass input and 4, 8, 16Ω output groups. The rear-illuminated front panel meter is used to adjust the polarization of the tubes.

The use of high-quality components (Mundorf N-Cap capacitors, ALPS potentiometer) wired in the air for the most part is the guarantee of exemplary reliability. Its power and current capacity allows it to manage a very wide range of speakers. The use of the legendary triode 805 offers a listening to an unusual musicality.
