*I lowered price to the least I'll accept. Not interested in low-ball offers. These are taking up living room real estate so this is the wife-ordained fire sale before I just put them in storage. These will not be relisted. (Correction, forgot about free relisting 😀) **Will consider some integrated amplifiers in trade. Yamaha A-S3000, McIntosh MA5300, or McIntosh MA2275 in particular.
I bought these from a dealer in Europe as I wanted to have the satin black and the US dealer network was a bit too slow for me. Having gone to a couple shows and had some conversations with the US importer, I’m pretty certain this was the first Satin Black Pair in the US. Bear in mind if you buy a pair from outside the US, you pay duties that bring the cost near parity with the retail cost.
These speakers are exceptional but I’m changing my system and downsizing ahead of moving. Having owned several ATC speakers, these are exceptional and a huge leap beyond the first version. I paired these with a Line Magnetic 508IA and it was bliss. Also sound amazing with the ATC P2.
This sale includes all original packaging, speaker grilles, manuals, covers, and warranty cards (can’t find the original jumper bars but I’m looking). I’ve never known ATC not to honor their warranty for the current owner of the speakers. These were warranted starting 11/23/2016.
There is an inexplicable blemish/indentation on the front baffle of one of the speaker. Could have been the house cleaner but my stereo is super off limits so I’m not sure why they would have touched them. It it pictured but hard to capture on a matte surface. Also, this is virtually invisible with the grilles in which is why I only saw this when I moved the speakers. These are otherwise in impeccable condition.
I’m a huge ATC fan so let me know if you have questions about these compared to the SCM11, SCM19, or SCM40. I’ve owned one of each from the last two generations.
Questions for the seller
Btw, I have a 100 watt per channel tube amp, with KT120's driving them.
That’s pretty impressive. They like good power so I’d imagine a well-build tube amp would be a great pairing.
I just sold my v2 11's and i loved them. So i am interested and the price seems fair. Question: I have a very big room and high ceilings. Do you think these are powerful enough to fill the room? Thx, Rob
They could be. I’d say above 18(ish) x 28(ish) you may want to look into the SCM100 and up. I went from the 11 v2’s to these and it was great. Didn’t need my sub anymore and the midrange dome is superb.
