I compared the Oaks and the Redwoods.

The the Oaks were more of a evolution over my Gilbraltars, the Redwoods were a revolution.

I purchased these cables few years ago from a Audioquest retailer in the States via Audiogon. These were his own cables. His Audioquest area manager verified their originality(see extract of email below).

Last year one of these cables had an issue so both were returned to Audiogon via Ambertech(Australian Distributor).

Audioquest replaced one cable under their lifetime warranty then fitted new spades to the other cable.

So these are no issues with these being genuine cables as Audioquest will destroy any cables that prove fake when items are shipped to them.

The new cable has a smooth finish DBS finish pack while the older cable has the previous slightly rubbery finish, both are 72v DBS. Can purchase a new one from Audioquest if you want for a small costcable .

One of the cables casings has some scratching(see photo below). Others in tiptop shape.
