New trade-in from a meticulous Audiophile who is upgrading his entire listening room.  This is a one owner model that is only 2 years old and has been maintained in a pristine listening room with conditioned power.  This Alpha DAC Reference One, that has the MQA upgrade, can be fully upgraded to the Reference Two Series directly through Berkeley Audio with a process where the new owner directly works with the manufacture.

Those of you that know DAC's understand the Alpha DAC Reference is a world class product.  Retail is $16,000 (worth every penny and then some), the MQA upgrade adds almost another $1,000 in service and shipping fees.  To give this one owner world renowned DAC a great home we are pricing it to sell.
As for the MQA upgrade, it takes an already established world class award winning DAC to a new level.  The MQA development for the Berkeley Alpha Reference is a bit perfect complete unfolding of the MQA format that presents a startlingly reveals of sounds that you did not know where on your favorite recordings.  Read the comments from all of the respected reviewers to hear about the unanimous agreement that MQA sounds special on the Alpha Reference DAC.
