These are 2-way bookshelf speakers that were offered by partsexpress as a kit/design based on Usher 8945A and 9930 drivers. These are very high end, low distortion drivers and in the league of ScanSpeak to which they often compared with.
The sound is great. Bass is phenomenal from a speaker this size. I never felt the need of a subwoofer with these. Clear vocals and smooth highs. They have served HT as well as pure stereo music duty very well. Only reason I am selling is that I want to make room from floorstanding speakers. They have Magnetic grills.
Also included are the pair of sand-filled stands that are heavy and solid (great isolation).
These speakers are VERY heavy, and so are the stands. Local pickup would be preferred (sf bay area) but I can ship if you pay shipping..
Size: 12" H x 10" W x 12.5" D Weight: 28 Lbs each speaker, about 15-18 lbs each stand.
