Up for sale my one owner Audio Research PH-3 SE Phono Stage. Originally manufactured SE and bought new this stage has been a flawless performer for me for some 18 years. It has mated as beautifully with the medium output Benz Glider and Benz Ruby as with the lower 0.4mV output Koetsu Black Goldline. There is one very small nick on the top of the faceplate near the center that can be seen in one photo, and an even tinier one almost invisible and a little further to the left. Otherwise looks like new, no screwdriver marks or anything. Rated Very Good simply due to age.
Everything that originally came with the unit is included: all the original packaging, power cord, screwdriver, load resistors, and Owners Manual. The tubes are removed and separately wrapped in bubble wrap exactly as originally shipped from the factory, including the factory warning to not power up the unit before installing the tubes.
I've noticed no degradation despite the age of the tubes, in fact was impressed how good it sounded when I recently upgraded to the Koetsu.
Nothing wrong, only selling as I upgraded to the Herron.
