A bargain price for a pair of near mint, highly raved and sought-after pair of these amazing monoblocks.

Note that shipping will be in 2 boxes, I put that in the Ad features so I hope it calculates it correctly. Also note that there are no scratches on the amps, the left amp in the first photo has a single cat hair on the top which looks like a scratch, but it is from the cat that sneaked into the background last photo of the boxes :-)
Shipping to CONUS only.   I will charge only actual shipping costs which are typically less than the audiogon estimate, and 3% PayPal.
Contact me before payment, as I have a discount with FedEx which I will be happy to pass on to the buyer.

Local pickup in the San Francisco bay area welcome.

I'll just let other reviewers tell you about these amazing amplifiers:
"After reading some glowing reviews on the Gilmore Raptors I decided to try
them. I'm glad I decided to try them. To this point the Gilmores and the
Transcendent Sound otl amplifiers are by far the best amplifiers I've
heard. Now for the comparison between the TS otl and Gilmore. Otl has a
bit more bloom through the midbass which makes it sound a little more
like a tube, also is a smidgeon softer in the top end again like a tube.
Gilmore is better dynamically and is clearer and more transparent and
retains all the texture and subtleties that the otl had. I feel the
Gilmore is the more honest amplifier and sounds more like live music,
where as the otl is a smidgeon more romantic sounding. Now I want to
make clear these differences are not massive but subtle and I love both
amplifiers equally. For me the benefit of the Gilmore Raptors are that I
never have to bias a tube or replace them when they burn out. I finally
found a amplifier I find equal to the best tube amplifiers. I feel this
is a major accomplishment on Mark Gilmores part."

"The last two tube amps I have been using on my 3.6r's have been ASL Hurricanes and a
VTL ST-85. Both of these amps sounded quite wonderful on my maggies. The
Raptor is better in all ways. The raptor has incredible resolution from
top to bottom. The recreating of hall sound in symphony recordings
feels very real. Micro and macro dynamics are handled with a very live
feeling to the presentation. I had heard that class D amps do not do
high frequencies very well but that is not the case here. Highs are very
extended and really clear sounding. Massed strings are recreated with a
great sense of power and physical beauty. Female vocals like Eva
Cassidy or Jacintha will make you weep. This amp is a keeper and I will
be keeping it. On the technical side it is a highly modified B&O Ice
powered with modified input, increased pulse frequency and modified
output filter."

"The reason that this review took so long to write is that these amps compelled the kind of listening that had me
revisiting much of my record collection. Because the way these amps
performed, far more time was spent listening rather than trying to
isolate, describe and write about the usual sonic checklist of
audiophile attributes or artifacts. Mark Gilmore has combined a unique
class “D” circuit design with a very high quality analogue power supply
and, it works exceptionally well in this case. The design focused on
only those elements that resulted in an audible improvement; Hence, the
lack of fancy graphics and other unnecessary add-ons. The result is a
musical presentation that I can best describe as whole cloth analogue as
opposed to the spot lighted digital sound that is so common today. I
find them highly engaging and they make listening most pleasurable over
the long term.Mark Gilmore and Glacier Audio are so confident in their
products that they come with a very liberal one month in home
auditioning period before making the final purchase. I don't think that
you will run into this deal very often."
