Pro-Ject Pre Box DS Preamplifier
 
The Pre Box DS is a pure single-ended Class A output stereo preamplifier designed to give audiophile sound quality and connectivity in a small compact package. The preamp circuitry is housed in a heavily shielded metal chassis that effectively rejects vibration and electromagnetic noise reducing the noise floor to inaudible levels. With four relay switched line-level inputs and separate preamp, record and subwoofer outputs, the Pre Box DS can accommodate a multi source audio system easily. Additionally, the volume control is relay controlled providing accurate adjustment of gain in 64 one-decibel steps. An extremely low output impedance allows for long cable runs without loss or high-frequency roll-off. 12V trigger switching is provided allowing other components to be turned on/off by the Pre Box DS. A large and bright display reads out volume level and input source selection. An IR remote is supplied that can control all the units functions.
