Up for sale is a Adcom GFA-545. his along with my GTP-500 II and Thiel 03as were part of my "Poor Grad
Student" setup. I have since upgraded my components and am now cleaning
house. The presentation of the preamp is below average. One side has numerous scratches (not sure if was once in some kind of rack - please see pho) and the front plate has two major scratches above the clipping lights. It also looks as though someone, at some point in time, attempted to touch up some places on the faceplate with black paint (although the touch up paint is glossy whereas the faceplate has a matte finish - again see photos). The amp itself is 100% functional. I've never had any issues with it powering up or performing as needed. Additionally someone, again at some point, installed Cardas binding posts. They are heavy and hold cables very well.
This is my first time selling on Audiogon but I have a strong positive
history of buying and occasional selling on ebay under the same
username. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks for
