This amp, despite being marked as Defy-7, is actually Da-7 (The latest Defy 7 is called DA-7 and retails for $13,900 The previous, older Defy 7 was called DA-7 luxe and retailed for $10, 995 - but this unit is NOT the older Da-7 DeLuxe). This particular amp was overhauled and upgraded by Jadis in early 2013, and I got this unit in March 2013; The power tubes are all NOS KT90 from Yugoslavia, the best and most desirable KT90, with no more than 10 hours on them. The tubes are worth about $1,000 alone. The KT90 are stored in their original Jadis boxes, all tubes are numbered, to be installed in the amp in the correct sockets, to assure proper bias, per Jadis.
