NAD M17 Surround Sound Processor Pre-amplifier and M27 180-watt/7-channel
power amplifier.  Included but not
installed is the upgrade VM300 HDMI 1.4
video board in the factory box.  The M17
processor is a version 1 (V. 1) unit and internally designed as a modular unit
to allow for hardware and software upgradability without being obsolete within
a few years.  The module can be installed
by people that have a decent understanding of electronics and can access
software upgrades from the NAD Support website. 
I generally fine people that are capable to opening and changing boards and components
in a computer can easily do this upgrade. 
The modular capability of the M17 will allow the owner to buy the ATMOS
upgrade board and make it the current version of M17 V2
model.  The M27 power amplifier is
perfect for people looking for power and high current capability to drive less
than normal efficient speakers and within a single chassis with 7-channels of
amplification.  The Master Series is totally
different from the regular series NAD in looks, built quality. performance and
especially in superior sonic superiority. 
These are NOT refurbished or recertified components.  The remote , manuals and original packaging
is with the units.  These were demo units
that were hooked up but did not get demonstrated very much.  The units are a 9 out of 10 rating.
