I am the original owner of this Audio Research model MP1 multichannel preamp purchased new from the authorized dealer in Salt Lake City, UT area. The unit was purchased with custom factory modifications for lower noise floor and increased gain. The unit was one of the last in production in 2010. The MP1 was checked and serviced by authorized ARC tech support in December, 2018. Rated 8/10 only for age. Photo attached, the MP1 preamp was used in conjunction with ARC model 150M.X model multichannel amp units for optimal impedance matched balanced surround playback in a listening room environment.
