Concert Fidelity DAC-040 NX Reference Tube DAC

READ CAREFULLY - This is a CF DAC040BD that has been upgraded, cleaned and refreshed by the factory May 2019 to the latest NX specifications.  The battery and charging system have been removed, as it is no longer necessary for the NX version.  It sounds similar to the battery DAC without having to wait for the battery to charge or replace them when worn.

This unit is in EXCELLENT condition and comes with a full warranty!  There is one super tiny mark (and I mean super tiny!) on the face...so rated an 8/10 (see pic).  However, it is so small I don't think most people would notice even if they were up close (and looking for it).  Other than that the unit is pristine!

Throughout years of testing many different DAC's this is one of our all time favorites for rebook CD or CD resolution files. The DAC is 16 bit, but can handle resolutions up to 96 kHz and will play 24/96 or 24/88 music.

Further NOTES - This DAC-040NX has SPDIF input only. However, if you wish to use with a computer or network player with a USB or Ethernet we can supply the Lumin U1 Mini or Bricasti M5 for an extra charge. This is a good way sonically, as it completely isolates the Computer/USB from the DAC (several other top DAC's have it this way with a separate USB box as well).
