Purchased these from Crutchfield Last November (2017) and have used them fairly lightly for some music (These aren't my main speakers). There are some surface scuffs on the tops of the speakers. These scuffs are only on the surface, they are not deep. Very clean, the piano gloss still has a mirror like quality to it. From a non-smoking environment (no smell). These still sound great.
