I am reluctantly selling my pair of Dynaudio Audience 122 speakers. They have served me well for ~ 10 years in a rarely used home theater setup. I am now downsizing setup.
2 way speaker with (2) 5.5" mid-bass / woofers and (1) 28mm soft dome tweeter in MTM D'Appolito configuration.
Finish is a gray brushed metal look - looks great with Home Theater system - next to flat screen TV. Dark grey grills on front.
Cabinets are in excellent condition. They have a few subtle marks, but can't see them unless you are looking from a few inches away. Grills in very good shape as well. Drivers are in excellent condition. Woofers have rubber surrounds, so no foam rot to worry about. Tweeter domes are intact and NOT pushed in. Come from non-smoking, pet free house. I have them rated as a 7/10 only to be conservative. They are more of 8/10.
Sound is fantastic. Great imaging and detail without harshness. Nice dynamics for music or home theater soundtracks. No issues, no surprises, just quality speakers.
This is Dynaudio's only real "tall - thin" speaker for such small room applications. All other floorstanders cast a larger shadow and footprint. In these days of Def Tech and others that like the tall narrow cabinets with 3" and 4" drivers, this offers slightly larger mid-bass drivers with real dynamics as expected from Dynaudio.
These received a 4.9 / 5 rating on Audioreview.com from many reviewers (not just 1 or 2).
Included in sale:

These are rare speakers, usually not seen for sale. The Gray / Tech finish is even rarer.
Presently, I am proclaiming LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. If I do consider shipping, I will likely go the freight route to avoid damage to the speakers (even though I have the original boxes). Speakers would be boxed up, then boxes strapped to pallet.
Thus, East Coast - Mid-Atlantic area pickup only for now. I can possibly meet you part way if you are driving from NJ or NC. Thanks.
