Pair of Quad II in very good condition for its age. Comes with all you see in the pics. First off, a bit of history about these amps: I purchase this set from a long time owner who had the output transformers replaced with a new set made by The Majestic Transformer Co. in UK. I have the invoice for the transformers which cost almost $1,000 USD. The amps were sent to Amplifier Surgery for the transformer installation and updating of some internal wiring. At that time, a set of interconnects were also made by Amplifier Surgery to connect the Jones plugs to RCA. They are 12 feet in length. Another set of Jones/RCA adapters were also made in case you wish to use your own RCA cables. All this took place 6 years ago. I listened to the amps today and they sounded fantastic. What really surprised me was not the quality of the sound (which any Quad II fan will tell you is outstanding for amps of this vintage) but the practically non existent floor noise. I though my modern VAC and Theta amps were quiet but I cannot detect any noise coming from these old Quads. At first I though they were not hooked up right but then the music began...beautifully and clear music. Really impressive. The output tubes are Russian Gold Lion KT-66, Rectifier tubed are British Mullard GZ32, input tubes are Valvo EF86. All tubes are in great shape, test strong and sounds great. You will not be disappointed with these amps. Buyer pays actual cost of shipping to lower USA. I will absorb PayPal fees. I have rated it a 7/10 because there are some paint blemishes and corners of the name plate are missing some plastic. There are no damages to the chassis. They are in really good original condition.
