If you've heard of Thoress, you likely don't need to read much more about this preamplifier. This is one of the "Great Tubed Preamplifiers" (w/ phono capability) of this era and they don't come up for sale often. Even rarer, is an example in this virtually mint condition with this degree of ownership TLC. In particular, if an analog fan, this is a phenomenal upgrade!
This Thoress is a trade-in and includes all packaging, paperwork, and hardware in outstanding condition. The "Super" input capability includes separate line stage and phono input (3 MC phono inputs,100ohm settings sections) aimed at true reference tubed analog performance. Enjoy the bloom of a first class phono stage with significant gain and a dead silent background presentation. This unit also comes with spare tubes and spare front face knobs for a different style.
