This is perhaps the best sounding and most musical solid state phono stage made under $20K while also providing a lot of flexibility. The FL phono provides two entirely independent MC phono inputs with versatile loading capability and a robust separate power supply. Further, the FL Phono provides a two separate gain settings (64db & 74db) switchable from the front panel. While a relatively high gain rating, one of the many beautiful attributes of this unit is it's "dead quiet" nature. Record grooves simply jump out of the black background. Finally, front panel controls also include an all valuable true mono switch for anyone wanting to run a true mono dedicated input and a "RIAA vs flat" recording curve switch.
