This is a brand new Reference Recording LP of "Marni Nixon Sings Classic Kern" (RR-28) (1988). ----- It features Marni Nixon on vocals, Lincoln Mayorga on piano (from Sheffield Labs), George Estes on drums, Stan Ricker on bass, Gary Foster on flute, clarinet and sax, Endre Granat and Vicki Sylvester on violins, Roland Kato on viola, Stephen Erdodi on cello, and Dorothy Remsen on harp. ----- It is a pure analog recording, pressed in Japan and half speed mastered by Stan Ricker from MFSL. This album was sponsored by The Absolute Sound magazine (TAS), so of course it's on their list of must have recordings. ------ It was one of the remaining stock of LP's that RR had when they decided to stop making LP's a long time ago. ----- NOTE: IT IS BRAND NEW, UNPLAYED, BUT NOT SEALED. ----- The jacket is in excellent condition with no splits or tears, and it has nice sharp corners.
