Up for sale is my Sonic Frontiers SFS-80 tube amplifier. Bought as a trade in from Parts Connexion early this year. Had Chris internally wire it for 4 Ohm operation to better match my AR9 LS speakers. Drove them with great results, surprising authority. I have the tube cage, original power cord and original shipping box (HUGE). The tube cage is missing one plastic fastener pin, the Parts Connexion still has those in stock if so desired, I did not use the cage being in a pet and toddler free environment.
Stainless finish looks great, no discoloration. A couple marks and one hairline scratch I tried to capture on top of middle transformer cover. For the age its a great unit, 80 watts of tube power. Easy to bias and holds for weeks at a time. All tubes included, two 6550 power tubes replaced couple months back. Selling because I bought myself a bigger, heavier, more powerful amp for Christmas! No Paypal fees to buyer.
