READ CAREFULLY - This is a CF DAC040BD that has been upgraded to the latest NX specifications. The battery and charging system have been removed, as it is no longer necessary for the NX version. It sounds similar to the battery DAC without having to wait for the battery to charge or replace them when worn.
Concert Fidelity can no longer source the batteries for the BD and the Chinese batteries are junk hence the NX mod.
Price includes shipping within the US and the following items: Factory Box, NOS Mullard Rectifier, NOS pair of 12AU7 signal tubes.
NOTE - This DAC-040NX has SPDIF input only. However, if you wish to use with a computer or network player with a USB, I can also include a Matrix Audio X-Spdif 2 for $250.00. This unit converts USB to Coaxial, I2S, optical and AES. Great unit!
