AKG Acoustics K1000

This is one of my first listing on Audiogon with lots more to follow. And it’s the legendary AKG K1000 with light wood box. Vintage. Made in Austria. Designed by Heinz Renner.

They are mint. Never used. NOS. This beautiful set has been in storage
for over fifteen years. A rare opportunity to purchase a unique set of headphones. Untouched and even in the original AKG shipping box. The set is the bass light version. SN: 10987.

They need no
introduction, and are simply one of the finest and most unique headphones ever
made. The earpieces swivel out and don't touch your head, giving you the
feeling of listening to loudspeakers.

An incredible feat of engineering that has never been duplicated.
