The DAC is not fully broken in yet but right out of the box it sounds pretty amazing. Compare to other DAC’s, I hear weightier, more substantial, more focused and more frontal in-room soundstage with Rockna. It will play your recordings with utmost faithfulness and detail.

The DAC has plenty of filter options, I preferred the hybrid filter as it sounded the best in my system. For purist out there, you have an option to disengage the filter. It also has Dither ON/OFF mode as well. This is probably the best R2R DAC currently available under $20K.
