Threshold FET Ten E linestage in very good cosmetic and perfect working condition. This is one of the best preamplifiers ever designed by Nelson Pass. Neutral, clean, pure, dynamic, musical with an open sound stage. Superb construction with gold plated boards, daughter board gain modules, and overbuilt power supply.
A move and system consolidation means this wonderful preamp needs to find a good home.
Collectible in original condition with no tweaks or poorly considered modifications. Per the description of the variants below, this is a Version 4 model. Last of the regular production units version using military grade parts and only bettered by the extremely rare final variant (FET-10 E-T) .
Beautiful appearance with only a few very minor little nicks or paint flakes - see detailed photos.
Purchased from an audio friend who is also an electrical engineer that spent lots of time studying the variations and production changes as he bought and sold FET-10s.

- FET10 E v3 - Same as V4 without the metal, military package FETs.
- FET10 E v2 - Same as V3 without the DC servo pot.
- FET10 E v1 - Lacks DC servo pot, polystyrene bypass caps, etc.
