Produced between 1963-1969 this was the last of the McIntosh Tube tuners. Vintage famous MR-71 Tuner from McIntosh Labs. It is very sensitive and easy to use.I serviced, restored, updated and detailed this Tuner to include FM alignment. Looks and sounds great. I recapped this Tuner. Checked all components for wear and tear. Replaced a few resistors, several tubes. Used Detox5 to clean and lubricate all switches, controls, Tuning Capacitor. Polished chassis with Chrome polish. Tightened any loose parts checked all RCA input female plugs on back. Disassembled front glass panel assembly and cleaned all sides of both glass and metal. Replaced worn foam to protect glass. Checked all dial bulbs and replaced almost all of them. Very Good Condition. Great performance. McIntosh wood cabinet available separately. Wood cabinet is available. Comes with owner's manual and a service manual. Will be shipped in New Mcintosh box. Optional FM antenna hand picked by me that works good inside and excellent outside. We can make up a coax cable for the length you need. Please check out reviews on line for the MR-71.
