I am the original owner, purchased from an authorized dealer and used in a smoke, child and pet free home. This amp was used for music and Home Theater using Magnepan 3.7 speakers and the Magnepan CCR Reference Center Channel Speaker. The actual output for this amp is 175w/8 ohm and 350w/4ohm, not 150w and 300w, because the large power supply used in all the S-1500 amps is being used to drive only 3 channels, not 5, 6, or 7, as in the other forms of the S-1500. This amp is sonically flawless. This amp is also cosmetically perfect except for a 1-inch scratch on the left rear side. I made the mistake of picking the amp up while wearing my watch and the SS watch band caused the scratch, otherwise the rating would be 9. Local pickup is possible to avoid shipping hassles for both of us, and save you shipping $$, after payment is received. I am also willing to meet the buyer halfway, within a reasonable distance, to avoid shipping altogether, otherwise shipping is UPS or FEDEX, signature required. Payment is by PayPal including fee. Original box, packing, manual, Krell power cord and 12v trigger cable also included. Check the Krell website or reviews for all details of Krell technology and design features.

Thank you. Bryan, This Amp is standard build, absolutely no modifications. The Amp output statement appears in a piece of Krell literature describing the S-1500 design features. Thanks for the question and your interest.

| This is likely a silly question, I see the XLR inputs, but is there an RCA L/R inout option? Jerry, All channels support both Balanced and single-ended RCA inputs. Thanks for your interest.

| do you think I can use a Krell Showcase preamp/processor with it? i'm using a Krell S-1000 preamp- processor now, but you can email Krell to verify, they are very quick to respond. |
