Sherwood, for many years, had a reputation for the best sounding receivers on the market.  I am offering Sherwood's best receiver ever.  This receiver sold for just under $2000.00.  It up- converts all video to 1080p.  It is the only receiver ever built with the Trinnov system built into the receiver.  This is a very expensive system used to set up live venues for audio.  The only reason I am selling this receiver is that will not pass through 3D BluRays.  I have several 3D BluRays and I have to have a second HDMI cable from my BluRay player to the TV.  If you have a home theater and the speakers are not in the perfect location for great surround sound, this receiver will (using the enclosed microphone - see photo) change the apparent location of your speakers.  I heard a demo of this unit at a distributor,  They had a screen and a projector with three in-wall speakers under the screen and two in-ceiling speakers above our heads.  The rep played the bombing scene from the movie Pearl Harbor.  With the system off, the sound came from under the screen and above our heads.  when he switched on the system, we were immersed in the fight.  The sound came from the screen and behind us.   If you are not interested in 3D or Dolby Atmos, then this is the receiver for you.  The receiver has 100 watts of high-current power to each of the 7 channels.  It will drive virtually any speakers comfortably.  You also have to extra channels for second room audio.   This receiver has the original firmware.  I have talked with Sherwood and they recommended NOT installing the newest firmware.  They have had many calls from people who have the receiver with the newer firmware and are having glitch problems.  He said the original firmware is far better than the newer one.   I also have the original box and packaging for shipping.
