B&W (Bowers & Wilkins) SCM-1

Up for grabs are my Red Stained Cherrywood B&W Nautilus SCM-1 monitor speakers in an amazing design. 

These are about 6.5″ of depth and can produce a surprising amount of low bass resonance in a slim design. These are configured with a 6.5″ kevlar mid/bass woofer and a 25mm Nautilus metal dome tweeter and can produce a soundstage and depth that would rival many conventional box size monitor speakers with one key advantage – it can be mounted on a wall with a “flush” (almost) outline. 

Frequency response is 80Hz to 20KHz with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and a sensitivity of 89dB. Recommended power to drive them is 50W to 120W. They would also make great surround speakers too; I had these paired with the 8 Series D3 line. I'm selling because I'm moving and these won't move to the new listening area.

A few minor scuff marks from use and noted in the pictures; nothing major and can be polished and buffed out when you receive them. The bottom of one of the speakers has marks from the dealer shelf, I purchased them with the marks. Grill covers are excellent with no tears or holes. Mounting brackets are included.

Shipping: 
This is my first pair of SCM-1s and when I bought them from the Dealer, they did not come with the original boxes. When I bought my second pair of SCM-1 in the Tigereye finish, they did come in B&W packaging of which I still have. You will have several options

• Option 1: Shipped in B&W SCM-1 boxes that are for my Tigereye SCM-1 & must be returned with the pre-paid shipping tag. A 400.00 core charge will be included in the purchase of the speakers and will be refunded when the boxes are returned. You pay actual shipping costs

• Option 2: Packed in non-B&W packaging where the speakers will be wrapped up in three different materials and packed securely for transport. I pay packing costs, you pay actual shipping costs.

• Option 3: Pick up as-is from Austin or San Antonio, no shipping charge.

• Option 4: Will meet half-way between Austin & Waco, Dallas, Fort Worth or Houston or San Antonio & Lubbock, Abilene, or Corpus Christi for 100.00 fuel charge.
