This is a full ModWright Oppo BDP-105 Tube Modification plus separate ModWright PS-9.9 Tube power supply. I had the full upgrade done by ModWright with the ByBee power rail upgrade, an almost $3000 modification on top of the brand new Opportunity BDP 105.
Read the reviews, this may be one of the best sounding DVD / DAC units on the planet. You can go to ModWright to see all of the reivews. This unit is almost brand new. it was bought new and immediately send in an unsealed box to ModWright for the foo upgrade and additional Tube power supply.
The stock tubes are brand new, as I also bought the Sophia Electric 6SN7 tubes from them in place of the stock ModWright tubes at the suggestion from Dan Wright. The system is fantastic sounding on any source. The DVD player will compete with CD/DVD transports with DAC costing many� times more that the over $4000 I paid for this machine. The Sophia Electric Tubes are not included, but can be bought separately for an additional $100 They have less than 200 hours on them
The DAC used as a separate DAC for your audio system will fill your Sonic playback with glorious modern tube performance. Believe the reviews, this player is not only beautiful in all of it's performance, but with fewer and fewer CD/DVD transports on the market, you have the complete system here for any high end audio system and/or your high end home theater.
I have all of the original packaging, boxes, accessories, manuals, etc., This will come to you looking and performing as good as a new unit.

| How old is the Oppo and when was the mod done ?
Thank you. Hi. I bought the unit new in early 2014 and immediately sent it to Modwright. I used it in my big rig at our vacation home for about 200 hours. We sold the home and it has been in our other home in the boxes for the past 18 months until I took it out this month to test, play, and shoot photos for this sale |

Ben Hi Ben. Well as you can see from the photos, it had optical outputs, so you should be good to go.
But the whole reason for the Modwright modifications is to have their incredible DAC TUBE mod, so I would use the analog audio outputs to the Accuphase and HDMI to the LG

I'm sorry, I'm still confused. I'm not interested in a trade if that's your question. I'm selling my oppo straight out. No trades |
